The Lodge

The Missouri River Lodge sets the standard for western hospitality. The lodge is a beautiful two-story native log building that accommodates up to twelve anglers - insuring a relaxing and comfortable stay. Each of our large rooms has two queen-size beds and its own unique character. Share your fishing stories and a drink in our full service bar. The lodge has the perfect set-up for any business meeting or specialty group conference.

Enjoy family-style home cooked meals made fresh everyday with the finest ingredients. You won't go hungry. Some of Lindsey's creations include Cajun Chicken with Mango Salsa, Filet Mignon - (grilled to perfection by BBQ Artist Joe), Elk Marinara over a Bed of Penne Pasta, Fall of theBone BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Pork Tenderloin with either Mixed/Matched Seasoning or Asian Style with Plum Sauce, and Four Cheese Tortellini with Shrimp Scampi Tossed in Alfredo Sauce. All dinners are served with Crisp Green Salad, Fresh Fruit, Bread or Rolls, Fresh Vegetable and some sort of Starch- Rice/Potatoe/Cous Cous/Pasta.This, of course, is all before the hand-created dessert.

Fly-Fishing isn't the only activity you can enjoy while staying at the lodge. Enter the Gates of the Mountain on a boat tour or go hiking for wild huckleberries, mountain biking, canoeing and kayaking, or jet skiing and water skiing on Holter Lake. Lodging is provided for winter sports as well. Get your heart pumping snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Montana is great for big game hunting or upland birds and waterfowl. Regardless of the time of year, no day is over before you put your feet up on the deck overlooking the river capturing the final colors of the day, breathing the fresh mountain air and listening to the river dance.
